CAMERA BASICS
If you don’t know what a “stop” is, how to adjust your “ISO” or what size of file you should be saving, “Camera Basics”, the first lesson in our curriculum, is for you.
If you’re transitioning from analogue to digital (or vice versa), camera basics will give you a solid foundation for learning and improving your photography. Or, you might just feel you need a refresher. Either way, our in-the-field training concept ensures that you do what you learn, so you actually learn it. “Camera Basics” includes the following topics:
- Equipment handling
- Lens care
- Filters
- Lens changing
- Flare and lens hoods
- File types (RAW vs. JPEG)
- Key menu items
- ISO
- White balance
- Metering
- Autofocus settings
