Stand And Wait
If you have the patience to wait for the right image you will be rewarded. I make copious notes about places to revisit at different times in the day for the best result. My hard drive is filled with placeholder images that need better light. I store the details of my intended revisits in the info panes of the images themselves. “Come back in winter”, “Needs early light”, stuff like that.
As the image above attests, my new friend and Toronto For Photographers follower, Fred Ribeiro just plain waits – and this shot proves the old blind poet correct: “They also serve who only stand and wait.”
